How we learn together
These guidelines describe the standards we expect from everyone on lucidplexus Academy — students, mentors, and staff alike. They exist to keep the Academy a fair, respectful, and genuinely useful place to learn.
Community posts, project reviews, and messages should be constructive. Disagreement is fine; harassment, hate speech, personal attacks, and discriminatory language are not, and may result in account restrictions.
Quizzes, practice challenges, and project submissions exist to help you actually learn the material. In your own submitted work:
- Write your own code and answers rather than submitting someone else's as your own.
- Using AI assistance, documentation, or outside resources to learn is fine — passing off work you didn't do as your own isn't.
- Certificates represent genuine completion; certificates found to be earned through dishonest means may be revoked.
The community boards and direct messages are for discussion related to learning, projects, and mutual support. Spam, unsolicited advertising, and off-topic promotional content aren't welcome. Keep shared code snippets and project discussions free of anything you wouldn't want a reviewer or classmate to see attributed to you.
Your account, your progress, and your certificates are tied to you. Don't share your login, and don't attempt to access another student's account, submissions, or messages. Report suspected security issues rather than exploiting them.
Violating these guidelines may lead to content removal, certificate revocation, temporary restrictions, or account termination, depending on severity. Most concerns are resolved with a conversation first — these guidelines describe the standard we hold everyone to, not a list of automatic penalties.
