Half the score is making the interviewer follow your thinking.
Most candidates memorize syntax they could look up in seconds and neglect the two things an interviewer cannot look up for them: whether they can choose between correct options, and whether they can explain their reasoning. Frame of Mind is the Python data interview from the interviewer's side of the table, from the first line of Python to pandas and the decisions an analysis supports.
Each chapter starts with the mental model in plain language. Then, under "At the interview", come the questions, one per page: what the interviewer is quietly measuring, the shape of a reply that earns a yes, a worked cell with the output it produced, and the green and red flags that decide it.
Inside:
More than 80 questions run on two small, deliberately messy files, orders and customers, with missing amounts, missing ages and dates stored as text. Every cell was run in the LucidPlexus Workbench.
