Terms of Service

1. Who we are

LucidPlexus ("the platform", "we") is operated by [REVIEW: legal entity name, registered address, chamber of commerce / KvK number, jurisdiction]. Contact: support@lucidplexus.com.

2. Accounts and membership

Anyone may create a free account, which permits reading published work, downloading datasets, voting, commenting, and saving items. Membership — publishing projects, earning XP and coins, the leaderboard, and community posting — is granted by invitation followed by a review of up to four weeks, or directly by an administrator. We may decline membership at our discretion. Minimum age to use the platform: [REVIEW: 16 recommended for NL/GDPR consent age; confirm].

3. Your content and license

You keep ownership of everything you create — repositories, write-ups, posts, comments. By publishing on the platform you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute that content as part of operating the platform (e.g. showing your public repository to visitors). Published repositories are public by design; deleting your account anonymizes them rather than removing them [REVIEW: confirm this retention choice].

4. Coins

Coins are a virtual convenience credit with no monetary value: they cannot be exchanged for money, transferred between accounts, or withdrawn. Coins currently cannot be purchased; if paid coin packs launch, these terms will be updated first with purchase and cancellation conditions [REVIEW: EU consumer withdrawal rights for digital content must be addressed at that point]. We may adjust coin prices for features prospectively, never retroactively.

5. Premium tracks and coupons

Coupon codes unlock specific premium content for exactly one account and are non-transferable once redeemed. Obtaining or distributing coupons fraudulently is a violation of these terms.

6. Acceptable use

The Community Guidelines are part of these terms. In short: no spam, harassment, plagiarism, malicious behavior, or attempts to abuse the platform, its datasets, or its coin system. Enforcement follows the published ladder: warning, content removal, ban, account termination.

7. Moderation, bans and termination

We may remove content, restrict features, ban, or terminate accounts that violate these terms. A ban blocks interactive use while preserving the account; termination removes the account and anonymizes published work. You may contest a decision via support@lucidplexus.com [REVIEW: whether to formalize an appeal window].

8. Datasets

Datasets are provided for learning and analysis on the platform. Their individual licenses/attributions are shown on each dataset page [REVIEW: confirm licensing of every dataset before launch]. Do not attempt to re-identify individuals in any dataset.

9. Certificates

Certificates attest that the named account completed the named track with human-reviewed work. They are not accredited qualifications. We may revoke certificates obtained through misconduct.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to [REVIEW: liability cap and carve-outs — jurisdiction-dependent, mandatory consumer protections in NL/EU cannot be excluded].

11. Changes to these terms
