One poster for the six jobs a chart can do: compare, show change over time, show part of a whole, show a distribution, show a relationship, and rank. Each job has two charts, from sorted bars and slope charts to histograms and box plots, with when to use each and what to avoid.
All twelve small charts are drawn from the data of the LucidPlexus Field Books, and each title states its finding. Where the data has a fault, the chart shows it: a renewable share that jumps to 61.0% because coal was flagged green, two prices typed ten times too large, one country's CO2 entered in thousand tonnes.
Five rules for every chart run along the bottom.
