How LucidPlexus works

Eight steps from stranger to certified analyst โ€” with honest small print.
๐Ÿงพ
01 Create a free account
Registration is open to everyone and free forever. An account lets you read every published repository, download datasets, vote, comment, clap, and bookmark. No invitation needed for any of that.
๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ
02 Get invited to membership
Membership โ€” publishing your own work, earning XP and coins, the leaderboard, and posting in the feed โ€” is invite-only. Any active member or admin can generate an invitation link for you. Links are single-use and expire 10 minutes after creation, so accept quickly.
โณ
03 Pass the review queue
Accepting an invitation places you in a first-come, first-served review queue. Reviews take up to 4 weeks; you can see your position anytime, and we notify you the moment there is a decision. Meanwhile, everything account-level keeps working.
๐Ÿงญ
04 Claim a guided project
As a member, pick a brief โ€” a real analysis question with real datasets attached. Claiming it creates your private workspace. One claim per project per person; your take on it is yours.
โŒจ๏ธ
05 Do the work in your browser
The workspace is a block-based notebook: notes, SQL that runs live against the project datasets, and Python blocks (saved now, executable when the runtime ships). You choose which blocks make the final write-up.
๐Ÿง
06 Submit for human review
A real person reads your submission โ€” not a script. Accepted work is published; otherwise you get concrete feedback and can resubmit. Spending coins on priority review moves you up the queue; it never changes the verdict.
๐Ÿ†
07 Publish, earn, climb
Published repositories appear on your public portfolio, earn you 160 XP and 15 coins, and count toward career tracks. XP sets your rank (Bronze to Legend) and your leaderboard spot โ€” which shows members only.
๐ŸŽ“
08 Finish tracks, earn certificates
Career tracks are sequences of projects building toward a role. Completing every project in a track earns a certificate with a public verification code anyone can check โ€” and the repos behind it are readable proof.

๐Ÿช™ Coins, briefly

Coins pay for optional extras โ€” never for learning itself. You start with 50, earn 15 per published project, and spend them on things like a streak freeze (20) or priority review (50, max 3 per day). The AI assistant (2 per answer) charges only when it actually answers.

The core loop โ€” claiming, working, submitting, publishing, your portfolio โ€” never costs a coin.

๐Ÿ”‘ Premium tracks & coupons

Some career tracks are premium. They unlock with a one-time coupon code โ€” each code works exactly once, for exactly one account, permanently. Membership (even an all-access account issued by an admin) does not include premium tracks; only a coupon opens them.

โ“ Frequently asked

Do I need to pay to participate?

No. Accounts are free, membership is free (invite-only, not paid), and the whole learning loop is free. Coins buy optional conveniences, and premium tracks need a coupon.

My invitation link says it expired โ€” what now?

Links live for 10 minutes after they are generated. Ask whoever invited you to create a fresh one, and open it right away.

Why was I not approved?

The review keeps the community small and serious. A rejection is not permanent โ€” a new invitation puts you back in the queue.

Who reviews my submitted projects?

A human reviewer, every time. Automatic scoring may arrive later as an optional extra, but publication decisions stay human.

Can employers see my work without an account?

Yes โ€” published repositories, portfolios, and certificate verification are fully public. That is the point of the platform.

What happens if someone breaks the rules?

Anyone can report posts, comments, or users. Moderators act along a ladder: warning, content removal, ban, and in serious cases account termination. See the community guidelines.
