Follow the Money
SQL from the first query, learned on a company's real books, then the answer turned into a message someone will act on. Four tables from Clearstone, a fictional company: a budget, a ledger of invoices, cash movements and a list of departments. You filter, total, group, date, join, nest and window them; find what is wrong with them and clean it in views; build the one-row finance scorecard that says whether the company is in good shape; then present it for its readers, with charts that stay honest. One brief, one notebook for the whole book, seventeen tasks: one per chapter of the book Follow the Money, each with an automatic check. Everything runs in the browser, nothing to install. Views and tables you create are gone after a page reload until you press Run all, so after reopening the project press Run all before running anything else.
