Green on Paper
Python from the first line, learned on environmental data, then six green claims checked before anyone believes them. Twelve tables about the Verdant Union, a fictional union of five countries: emissions, electricity, renewable capacity, water, waste, air quality in ten cities, company practices and national programs. You read, filter, total, group, join and date them with pandas; find the 25 faults planted in them and clean them with a record of every decision; build the scorecard that sets each claim of the Green Progress Report next to what the data says; then chart and word the answers honestly. One brief, one notebook for the whole book, seventeen tasks: one per chapter of the book Green on Paper, each with an automatic Python check. Everything runs in the browser, nothing to install. Python names live in the browser session: after reopening the project, press Run all before running anything else, so that every earlier block rebuilds what later blocks use.
